Hi, I’m Josias.

I’m a photographer and videographer based in the Chicagoland area. I was born and raised around Chicago. I love the city and it greatly inspires my work. Similarly, my Puerto Rican heritage influences my cultural identity and my work. Above all, my faith as a Christian influences everything about me. “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians 3:23

My love for art, media, and storytelling began at a young age. Throughout my childhood I would become inspired by iconic movies, big budget blockbusters, and the adventures I would go on with my family to different places. I would go on to make silly YouTube videos which helped me cement my interest in media. When I was 15 I took a photography class in high school and from then on I was hooked. That Christmas I asked for a Canon Rebel T6 which turned out to be one of the best gifts I had ever received as that was the camera I used to start my career in media. I began this career in 2018 with a few portrait photo sessions. As my interest in the work grew, my skill followed. Now I’m studying media at Wheaton College as I continue pursuing my career as a freelance photo/videographer.

My work mostly consists of telling stories, marketing, and artistic photo/videos. I also shoot big events such as corporate galas or weddings. I genuinely love what I do and I believe that is reflected in my work.
